Palm Done Right – Palm’s Sustainable Journey

Daabon Palm Farming

Palm oil is a widely discussed and often controversial topic. An essential natural ingredient, Palm oil is used in many of the products we use every day, including soaps. Around the world millions of acres of land have been destroyed due to unsustainable practices from companies. This is something we want to change.

Back in 2007 Soapworks was the first soap manufacturer to supply soaps made from sustainably derived Palm Oil and in 2011 we were the first to gain RSPO supply chain standard certification. This is something we have been passionate about for many years.

We are also part of the Daabon family who for the past 50 years have been proving that sustainable Palm is possible. In doing so they are now ranked as the number 1 supplier in the world for transparency.

We are proud to be part of a company that dedicates itself to producing palm which we can then use in our bar soaps, turning it into a force of good.

We believe that palm oil can be produced ethically in a way that benefits people of using this natural product without harming the planet. To do this, only palms are planted on previously deforested land and the forest land is never cleared. Care is also taken to protect the natural conservation areas for animals to live and a zero-carbon footprint is maintained.

Palm is an amazing product, it is stable, effective, natural and has many uses. It is also vital for the farmers and the communities to grow it for sources of income in some of the world’s most derived areas.
Our Palm is fully traceable throughout the supply chain, from soil to market giving peace of mind to our consumers.

We are proud to be part of a company that dedicates itself to producing palm which we can then use in our bar soaps, turning it into a force of good.
